Talent Acquisition Consultant – Construction

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Consultant – Construction will lead the end‑to‑end recruitment of skilled construction and engineering professionals for projects across Ireland and Europe. You will build strong candidate pipelines, manage the hiring process and support onboarding and mobilisation of new hires.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for construction, engineering and trades positions across Ireland and Europe.
• Develop and maintain direct candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, social media, industry events and proactive sourcing.
• Source skilled trades, site management, engineering and professional construction personnel.
• Conduct screening, interviews, competency assessments and reference checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment priorities.
• Coordinate offer management, onboarding, relocation and mobilisation of successful candidates.
• Maintain compliance documentation, including right‑to‑work checks and certifications.
• Record recruitment activity and reporting in the ATS and provide market insights.
• Build relationships with recruitment partners, training providers and industry organisations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience recruiting within the construction sector, either in‑house or agency.
• Strong knowledge of construction roles, trades, engineering disciplines and site operations.
• Proven ability to build direct candidate networks and passive talent pipelines.
• Experience recruiting across Ireland and/or European markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple vacancies in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for talent sourcing.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
