Talent Acquisition Specialist (18‑month contract)

About the role

ESB is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a designated business unit. You will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract high‑quality talent that supports the organisation’s growth and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for internal and external vacancies, ensuring timely delivery and a positive candidate experience.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events and direct outreach.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and align recruitment strategies.
• Produce regular talent acquisition status reports for the business.
• Contribute to talent acquisition projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Stay informed on market trends, employment legislation and ESB HR policies.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level qualification in HR or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑life‑cycle recruitment experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience using psychometric testing in recruitment.
• Proficiency with social media platforms for talent sourcing, especially LinkedIn.
