Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a construction client in County Kilkenny. You will work onsite, collaborating with hiring managers across Ireland to attract top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for multiple roles and regions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Create and administer competency assessments.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and direct search.
• Screen, assess and coordinate interview processes.
• Handle offers, approvals and candidate communications.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline progress.
• Support career events, graduate engagement and recruitment campaigns.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Coordinate pre‑employment checks, onboarding and agency relationships.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Degree in Business, HR or a related discipline; CIPD qualification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong sourcing capability, especially using LinkedIn and direct methods.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and a solutions‑focused approach.
