Talent Acquisition Specialist – Water/Wastewater Projects

About the role

Glanua is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for its water and wastewater treatment projects across Ireland and the UK. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will partner with business leaders to ensure the right talent is hired at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for all Irish and UK entities, from proactive sourcing to onboarding.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, delivering a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using both traditional and innovative channels to create a diverse talent pipeline.
• Negotiate terms with recruitment agencies, maintain a preferred supplier base, and control recruitment spend.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment channels and supplier performance.
• Provide training and guidance to managers on interview techniques and selection best practices.
• Participate in manager development programmes and support hiring decisions with expert advice.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle talent acquisition, preferably within engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on cost‑effective recruitment solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
