Tax Associate

About the role

Our client, a medium-sized accountancy practice in Dublin, is expanding its tax department and is looking for a Tax Associate to join the Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory team. You will work on a varied portfolio of clients across many sectors, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compliance for an allocated list of Income Tax and Corporation Tax clients.
• Provide advisory and compliance support for Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisition Tax, VAT and Relevant Contract Tax.
• Handle Revenue queries and tax registrations for individuals and companies.
• Identify tax optimisation opportunities for clients.
• Collaborate with senior partners and managers for mentorship and development.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified (CTA desirable but not essential).
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in an Irish practice.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and ability to spot client opportunities.
• Motivated, proactive and committed to high‑quality service.
