Tax Consultant (Part‑time, Ireland)

About the role

Soul Atlas Universe is seeking a part‑time Tax Consultant licensed in Ireland to work directly with the COO, Finance and Legal teams. The role is flexible, requiring 2‑4 hours per week, and focuses on designing tax‑efficient compensation and IP structures for a growing transmedia studio.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on tax implications of profit‑participation and royalty‑based compensation models for a global creative team.
• Develop the profit‑share system in collaboration with legal counsel.
• Provide guidance on the interaction between the operating company and a new holding company, including IP licensing, inter‑company payments and future investment structures.
• Identify and recommend tax incentives and savings applicable to transmedia‑type companies.
• Advise on timing of tax events and coordinate with the Irish Revenue Office.

Required profile

• Irish chartered accountant or qualified tax advisor.
• Experience working with Irish Revenue, CRO and SMEs or early‑stage companies.
• Proven ability to design non‑standard tax structures and work alongside employment counsel and finance leadership.
• Structured, detail‑oriented and self‑starting.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Irish tax law and compliance.
• Experience with royalty, profit‑participation and deferred‑compensation tax treatment.
• Familiarity with IP licensing and multi‑company tax structures.
