Technical Analyst – Regulatory Reporting (6‑month contract)

About the role

Join a leading finance organisation in Dublin as a Technical Analyst on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work within the Finance Technology team, delivering regulatory and capital reporting solutions across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners on COREP, Statistical, Finrep and Anacredit projects.
• Design and implement a new regulatory reporting platform using accounting and data‑analysis expertise.
• Document business and technical processes for data sourcing and reporting.
• Produce comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review test scenarios created by QA testers.
• Maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and ensure governance compliance.
• Advise software developers throughout project phases and communicate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering mandatory regulatory implementations in a Tier 1 investment bank.
• Strong understanding of financial products and asset classes (debt, equity, commodity).
• Excellent data‑analysis capabilities and experience writing BRDs and reviewing technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Effective verbal and written communication with multi‑location stakeholders.
