Technical Designer – Workplace Interiors

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our Dublin studio. The successful candidate will translate design concepts into detailed construction documents, using Revit and BIM, and work closely with consultants, clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality workplace environments.

Key responsibilities

• Organise design deliverables and lead the production of detailed construction documents.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation – drawings, technical details, schedules and specifications – using Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate with consultants, internal teams and sub‑contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in all project phases, from concept through to completion, with a focus on later design stages.
• Conduct code reviews, review submittals and ensure selected materials, fittings and fixtures meet project requirements.
• Lead design team meetings and drive coordination across discipline packages.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical advice and ensure accurate information is delivered to construction teams.
• Implement Unispace design standards, processes and technological solutions.
• Identify, report and mitigate design risks while maintaining compliance with safety and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in interior design, particularly workplace technical design.
• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• Proven ability to mentor junior designers and lead the sequencing of design information.
• Strong understanding of local regulations, code compliance and commercial interior project delivery.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication across disciplines.
