Technical Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Maintenance Manager to lead our nationwide team of engineers delivering preventative and reactive maintenance for fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, gate automation and electrical compliance services. Based in our Carlow office, you will ensure all contracted systems meet service intervals, SLAs and industry standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for operational and commercial performance of the maintenance division.
• Lead, mentor and develop service engineers and support staff.
• Plan resources and workloads to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance nationwide.
• Monitor engineer utilisation, productivity, response times and service performance.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare quotations, contract renewals and service proposals.
• Manage customer relationships and act as primary escalation point for service issues.
• Drive revenue growth through contract renewals, service upgrades and new opportunities.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance and service delivery.
• Implement continuous improvement in quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Manager, Service Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical understanding of security, CCTV, access control, fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Based in Ireland with the right to live and work without sponsorship.
