Technical Project Manager – Contract (Hybrid, Cork)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a global client’s large‑scale IT programme. The role is based in Cork on a hybrid schedule (2‑3 days onsite) and will oversee multiple technical workstreams across infrastructure, software delivery and warehouse systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end IT projects through planning, execution, governance and delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
• Drive project reporting, stakeholder communications, risk, issue and escalation management.
• Lead governance forums, steering updates and maintain project documentation.
• Manage dependencies across multiple projects and PMO activities.
• Support audit, compliance and project control processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in technical/infrastructure delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills in a global matrix organisation.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated industries is advantageous.
• Exposure to SAP or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
