Technical Support Specialist – Cloud Cyber Security

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of cloud‑based cyber security solutions, is looking for a Customer Technical Support Engineer to join their technical support team in Sandyford, Dublin. The role involves delivering first‑line support for a suite of email and data security products, troubleshooting issues and configuring services for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support via telephone, email and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve customer technical issues efficiently.
• Configure and support customer email accounts and related services.
• Develop expertise in email security, DNS, anti‑spam, anti‑virus and anti‑phishing technologies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and resolutions.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours support rota as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Technical Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and internet technologies.
• Knowledge of DNS and MX records.
• Experience with ticket management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
