Territory Sales Representative

About the role

The Territory Sales Representative will cover Ireland and Northern Ireland, promoting the company's range of machinery and solutions. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will build strong customer relationships, generate new business and manage the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's machinery, products and services within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities.
• Generate sales leads through prospecting, networking, customer visits and market research.
• Prepare and present quotations and proposals, negotiating commercial terms.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to order placement and hand‑over.
• Record all customer interactions, opportunities and activities in the company's CRM system.
• Process customer orders according to company procedures and support project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams – Technical, Service, Customer Support and Finance – to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Attend customer meetings, trade exhibitions, networking events and company meetings as required.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments, competitor activity and product portfolio.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the commercial team’s success.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a field‑based sales or business development role.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven capability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness with a customer‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
