Test Team Operative / Technician (3 positions)

About the role

We are looking for three Test Team Operatives/Technicians to ensure safe and efficient testing of LV and HV switchgear. You will work closely with production, project managers and the CAD team to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety for all personnel during live testing.
• Verify that tools and test equipment are fit for purpose and inspected.
• Conduct predefined electrical tests on LV and HV switchgear using appropriate equipment.
• Accurately record test results in digital and manual formats.
• Validate test outcomes against acceptable values and upload reports to the system repository.
• Assist with fault diagnosis and remedial actions.
• Use the Change Order system to flag electrical design issues and mark up drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and the CAD team to process Change Orders.
• Participate in pre‑FAT/FWT handover meetings and attend FAT/FWT sessions with clients.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of LV and HV switchgear.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
