Training Officer – Learning & Development (Fixed-Term)

About the role

ABM is seeking a full‑time Fixed‑Term Training Officer based in Dublin. The role is field‑based, supporting a diverse portfolio of contracts across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with regular travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deliver a comprehensive training calendar, including induction, BICSc CPSS, manual handling and other directed programmes.
• Identify training needs, coordinate with the Learning & Development Manager and ensure appropriate external training is arranged.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Deliver British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) training to required standards and stay updated on changes.
• Develop and manage high‑quality eLearning content on the online learning platform.
• Design blended training approaches aligned with strategic departmental goals.
• Support onboarding processes across the UK and Ireland, ensuring consistency with global standards.
• Lead and contribute to Learning & Development projects such as workshops, e‑learning initiatives and onboarding programmes.
• Provide face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions for the UK and Ireland.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training programmes and managing learning calendars.
• Familiarity with BICSc standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly across ROI and NI.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to evaluate training outcomes.
