Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist designs, develops, and delivers training programs for new product launches and ongoing associate development. Working across classroom, laboratory, production floor, and online environments, the specialist ensures that employees acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, standardize, and continuously improve end‑to‑end training strategies, curricula, and learning materials aligned with business needs.
• Apply adult learning theory, blended learning, and eLearning techniques (webinars, videos, on‑demand modules) to maximize knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to capture feedback and customize learning programs.
• Lead, recruit, and evaluate a team of instructors; implement a Train‑the‑Trainer certification program.
• Deliver hands‑on technical training, troubleshoot issues, and provide constructive feedback to frontline operators.
• Manage Technical Training Academy facilities, budgets, equipment, and company‑wide training calendars.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to deploy, track, and certify global training initiatives.
• Maintain meticulous training records to ensure 100% compliance with safety, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Use assessment tools and post‑training feedback to drive data‑driven continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience managing people and delivering training in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional foundation or degree in Education, Training, or a related discipline.
• Strong time‑management, public‑speaking, problem‑solving, and written/ verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
