Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, permanent Truck Driver to join our team at HPC Sales Ltd. based in Limerick. The role involves delivering a range of building and DIY products to customers across multiple locations, ensuring timely and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Check orders and dockets before departure and plan delivery routes with the Branch Manager.
• Perform daily vehicle and load checks, secure loads, and report any incidents.
• Deliver goods to customers, obtain signed proof of delivery (POD) and return documentation promptly.
• Handle multi‑drop and branch‑to‑branch runs, both long and short distances.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the driver’s logbook with accurate readings and commodity details.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Required profile

• Full clean driving licence (Category C).
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Excellent time‑keeping and motivation to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of local roads and surrounding areas.
