Underwriting Operations Analyst

About the role

Reporting to the Underwriting Operations Team leader in Ballsbridge, Dublin, you will work on multiple classes of business and develop key knowledge of end‑to‑end processes and systems. This role supports and processes underwriting data capture for the Dublin entity and the Lloyd’s of London syndicates managed by our agency.

Key responsibilities

• Capture accurate and complete data in our underwriting system.
• Develop knowledge of slip differences across multiple lines of business.
• Process underwriting documentation within predefined service level agreements to ensure timely and accurate data capture.
• Resolve queries within the team or directly with Underwriting Assistants.
• Perform quality assurance of data entry.
• Undertake ad‑hoc project work.
• Handle general administrative duties.
• Act in accordance with all applicable supervisory bodies, principals, rules and regulations.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good numerical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Proven ability to work to deadlines and SLA’s.
• Accurately capture and process data.
• Team player able to meet individual targets.
• Motivated self‑starter.
