Unified Communications Support Engineer – Dublin (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Unified Communications Support Engineer to join a Dublin‑based client on a long‑term contract. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site interaction with remote support, and focuses on delivering high‑quality technical assistance for Microsoft 365 and Teams environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/2 end‑user support, incident resolution and service request management.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, including user provisioning, policy configuration and meeting support.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 core services such as Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online and the admin centre.
• Document solutions, create knowledge articles and ensure accurate service records.
• Collaborate with clients at working‑level to understand and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ICT support or help‑desk roles.
• Level 6 NFQ Computing qualification or equivalent certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL V4).
• Microsoft 365 Team Administrator Associate certification or comparable experience.
• Proven experience on client‑facing consultancy projects in public or private sectors.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to translate theory into practical solutions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Teams administration and support.
• Microsoft 365 services (Azure AD, Exchange Online, Admin Centre).
• End‑user support (Level 1/2) and incident escalation procedures.
• Logical problem‑solving and structured troubleshooting.
• Clear communication with non‑technical users and thorough documentation.
