The University Tutor in Mathematics supports Maynooth University’s commitment to excellent research and outstanding education by delivering tuition and demonstrations to undergraduate students. The role focuses on helping students deepen their understanding of core mathematical concepts within established programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tuition and/or demonstrations to groups of undergraduate students.
• Assist students in developing a clear understanding of key course topics.
• Draw out essential learning points from course materials.
• Contribute to the delivery of the university’s academic programmes.

Required profile

• Ability to teach and support undergraduate mathematics students.
• Commitment to the university’s goals of research excellence and high‑quality education.

• Salary range €45,551 – €57,921 per annum (7 points) in line with public sector pay provisions.
