Vice President, Senior Auditor

About the role

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Senior Auditor to join its Global Finance Audit team in Dublin. You will work across global and regional audit reviews, focusing on treasury, finance, and risk management, and will be involved in every stage of the internal audit cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in global or regional audit reviews in prudential areas such as treasury, finance, and risk management.
• Execute planning, fieldwork, reporting, and validation of corrective actions throughout the internal audit cycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal audit colleagues worldwide.
• Contribute to Continuous Monitoring initiatives to track emerging risk conditions.
• Perform ad‑hoc audit tasks and projects as directed by senior audit management.
• Apply advanced analytical problem‑solving techniques and lead innovative solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance audit efficiency and insight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Internal Audit or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, CPA, CFA, or CIA are preferred.
• 7‑10 years of relevant audit or consulting experience, preferably with exposure to treasury, finance accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial risk management.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
