Virtual Production Creative Residency

About the role

This three‑to‑four‑week residency invites virtual production practitioners to Galway to develop a creative work using state‑of‑the‑art facilities at the University of Galway or Atlantic Technology University. The programme aims to foster knowledge exchange between Irish and international creators.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise university virtual production labs and equipment to create a new piece of work.
• Collaborate with local virtual production experts and share expertise.
• Engage with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network to build international connections.
• Document the creative process for future reference and promotion.

Required profile

• Prior experience with virtual production technology or processes.
• A clear creative vision that can be realised within a 3‑4 week timeframe.
• Ability to work independently while being open to collaboration.
• Fluent communication in English.
