Waiter/Waitress – Full-time in Dublin

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waiters and waitresses to join the floor team at Gloria Osteria in Dublin. As part of the Big Mamma family you will help deliver bold Italian flavours and high-energy hospitality to our guests, ensuring every visit becomes a memorable moment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests in your assigned section, following the full steps of service from greeting to payment.
• Provide menu, wine and cocktail recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain product knowledge of all dishes, wines and cocktails.
• Open and close the dining floor, ensuring health, safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and act as a problem-solver for any guest issues.

Required profile

• Friendly, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for Italian food.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a busy restaurant environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Basic knowledge of wine and cocktail service.
