Warehouse Operative – Goods In (Day/Night Shifts)

About the role

Lidl is seeking energetic Warehouse Operatives to manage the flow of goods in its regional distribution centre in Newbridge. You will work either a day shift (6 am‑4 pm) or night shift (10 pm‑6 am) ensuring smooth inbound operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted flow of goods in and out of the distribution centre.
• Direct lorry drivers to appropriate lanes and sort incoming stock.
• Perform quality inspections and quantitative counts, including temperature checks.
• Record relevant data such as best‑before dates and pallet heights.
• Label each pallet with the dispatch unit number.
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Comfortable operating manual handling equipment, e.g., order picker forklift.
• Flexible, can‑do attitude.
• Preferably prior experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
