Warehouse Operator – Chemical Manufacturing

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Safely load and unload vehicles using a forklift.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Transport materials safely between the warehouse and production areas.
• Carry out stock control, cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure accurate completion of warehouse documentation and system transactions.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with Health & Safety, GMP and environmental procedures.
• Support production operations by ensuring materials are available when required.
• Report any stock discrepancies, equipment faults or safety concerns.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, food or similar industry desirable).
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock control.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work rotating day and evening shifts.
