Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a growing organisation that supplies agri‑chemical, animal health and horticulture products across Ireland, the UK and Europe. The role involves receiving, storing and dispatching goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify stock against purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage, report discrepancies and ensure correct documentation.
• Store products safely and accurately within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks (where certified).
• Maintain accurate stock records and support regular inventory checks.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licence preferred).
• Pallet truck operation.
• Use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory scanning tools.
• Basic IT proficiency.
