Warehouse Operator / Material Handler

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Operator/Material Handler to join Haemonetics as we expand our US commercial activities. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, supporting manufacturing and distribution by ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials, checking quantities, lot numbers, expiry dates and documentation.
• Manage material movements and transactions in Oracle ERP, including receipts, transfers, issues and finished‑goods movements.
• Support production by issuing raw materials according to pick lists and material requests.
• Organise domestic and international shipments, preparing accurate documentation and coordinating with carriers such as FedEx, UPS and freight providers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance investigations and corrective actions.
• Handle material transfers between warehouse, production, sterilisation partners and distribution centres.
• Segregate and manage non‑conforming materials in quarantine locations.
• Optimise warehouse layout and space utilisation, applying 5S principles.
• Operate material‑handling equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment issues or operational problems.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, accuracy and service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse and shipping experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical devices, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with domestic and international shipments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Focus on quality, compliance and workplace safety.
• Team‑player with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (material‑movement modules).
• Forklift operation (licence preferred).
• Use of material‑handling equipment (pallet trucks, etc.).
