Warehouse Operator – Production & Logistics

About the role

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support production and logistics activities across its manufacturing sites. The role works Thursday‑Saturday day shifts (7 am‑7 pm) and ensures that materials, consumables, and finished goods are handled safely, accurately, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Book all incoming deliveries and record them in the computerized stock system.
• Monitor consumable supplies, kit out materials for production, and organise carton coding.
• Prepare and quantify material returns and palletise finished goods for dispatch according to customer specifications.
• Transport goods between sites using a company van when required.
• Maintain accurate goods‑in, goods‑out, and stock control records and hand them over to QA.
• Operate forklifts and high‑bay reach trucks safely, following all safety and GMP procedures.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding deliveries, shortfalls, and issues.
• Report any safety defects, deviations or non‑conformances to the Safety Officer or QA Manager.
• Support housekeeping, racking efficiency, and external area maintenance.
• Assist in other PCI manufacturing plants as needed.

Required profile

• Willingness to work Thursday‑Saturday day shifts.
• Ability to follow strict SOPs, safety guidelines and GMP requirements.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Physical capability to handle manual material movement and operate warehouse equipment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a computerized inventory/stock system.
• Forklift operation certification.
• High‑bay reach truck operation certification.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.
• Experience in pallet preparation and stock control documentation.
