Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the stores department of a successful food manufacturing business in Clonmel. The role is hands‑on, ensuring packaging and materials are supplied to production while maintaining high standards of stock control, traceability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the stores department and external yard area.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate a small team to meet operational targets.
• Supply packaging and materials to production according to manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages and coordinate goods‑in activities.
• Maintain accurate stock records, conduct monthly stock takes and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and storage in line with food‑safety and allergen segregation requirements.
• Oversee waste management and keep external areas organised and compliant.
• Promote a positive health‑and‑safety culture and keep the site audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Stores, Warehouse or Inventory Supervisor, Materials Controller or similar role.
• Background in food manufacturing, FMCG or other production environments.
• Strong stock control, inventory management and traceability knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a small team.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (advantageous).
