Web Designer – UI/UX & Front‑End Development

About the role
Our Dublin‑based client is looking for a Web Designer to join a growing team on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will be responsible for creating engaging, responsive, and accessible digital experiences while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites.
- Create intuitive UI/UX designs, wireframes, prototypes and page layouts.
- Develop front‑end components using HTML and CSS.
- Manage and update website content through a CMS.
- Apply WCAG accessibility and SEO best practices.
- Continuously improve website performance and user experience.
Required profile
- Strong UI/UX design background with a portfolio of website projects.
- Front‑end development expertise, especially in HTML and CSS.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems such as Umbraco or WordPress.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required skills
- Advanced CSS (building reusable components).
- HTML and responsive web design.
- CMS experience (Umbraco, WordPress or similar).
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Experience with analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code.
