Workday Advanced Compensation Architect/Consultant

About the role

Kognativ Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation Architect/Consultant to partner with global clients and maximize their Workday investment. The role involves leading complex projects from design through deployment while delivering exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions for global customers across various HCM modules.
• Conduct detailed working sessions to gather and analyze business requirements, propose alternatives, and advise on best practices.
• Lead medium to high‑complexity projects (e.g., acquisitions, Phase X rollouts) through the full lifecycle, managing scope, quality, and timelines.
• Drive high client satisfaction by building strong relationships and meeting KPIs such as utilization and CSAT scores.
• Mentor and coach less‑experienced team members and contribute to the knowledge repository.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on client issues and implement effective corrective measures.

Required profile

• 4+ years leading Workday implementations, supporting post‑production/AMS services, or as a sophisticated Workday client.
• Deep knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Security, and Reporting, with expertise in at least one additional module.
• Proven ability to manage conflicting demands, prioritize independently, and lead full‑lifecycle projects.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder influence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, frequently changing environment.
• Willingness to travel less than 10% annually.
