Workshop Supervisor / Instructor – Mental Health Services

About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) West and North West is seeking experienced Workshop Supervisors / Instructors to deliver training within its Mental Health Services. The role involves leading workshops, supporting staff development, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery across several training centres in Galway and Roscommon.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise mental health workshops and training sessions.
• Develop and update training materials in line with HSE guidelines.
• Deliver instruction to staff and service users, ensuring learning objectives are met.
• Assess participant progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain records of attendance, outcomes and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with centre managers and senior clinicians to align training with service needs.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in health, education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health services or similar healthcare environment.
• Previous supervisory or instructional experience.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and the Irish public‑service employment framework.
