Youth Group Facilitator – Permanent

About the role

The Soar Foundation is looking for enthusiastic Youth Group Facilitators to deliver character‑building workshops to young people across Ireland. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and involves travelling to schools, youth groups and community settings to run in‑person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Soar workshops that help participants explore identity, strengths and values.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment that encourages active participation.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with schools, community organisations and youth workers.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of workshop content.
• Complete administrative tasks, reporting and adhere to safeguarding policies.
• Participate in team meetings in Dublin and attend regular supervision and training sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience leading and facilitating group workshops, preferably with youth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission of fostering resilience, confidence and empowerment in young people.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work a four‑day week.
