Accommodation Assistant – Part‑time (Weekends)

About the role

Join the award‑winning Talbot Collection as an Accommodation Assistant on a part‑time basis, primarily covering weekend shifts. You will help maintain the high 4‑star standards of the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms, ensuring every visitor experiences a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep lobbies, corridors, and other public spaces tidy and safe, following health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Vacuum, mop, and maintain carpets and floors in guest rooms and public areas, using appropriate signage when required.
• Clean, sanitise, and restock guest bathrooms and toilets according to standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to fire, safety, and hygiene regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005.
• Assist guests in public areas when needed and handle any complaints professionally, escalating to management as appropriate.

Required profile

• Good communication skills with a functional level of English.
• Flexible availability for weekend work.
• Previous experience in a 4‑star hotel accommodation department is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, detergents, and equipment.
• Understanding of health‑and‑safety and fire‑safety procedures.
