Assistant HR Manager (Grade VII) – National Screening Service

About the role

The National Screening Service is seeking a Grade VII Assistant HR Manager to join its HR team in Dublin. This internal position supports a wide range of HR activities, providing expert advice and operational support to ensure effective people management across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HR advice on policy interpretation, employee relations and compliance.
• Manage recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
• Coordinate learning and development initiatives, tracking progress and evaluating outcomes.
• Maintain HR records and reports using SAP HR and other HR systems.
• Support line managers with performance management and employee development plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience in HR, including policy advice, recruitment and learning & development.
• Eligibility to apply under the WRC Agreement 161867 (employees of HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies or statutory health agencies).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HR or comparable HR information systems.
