Audit Senior – Cork

About the role

We are looking for an Audit Senior to join our Cork team. You will work closely with partners, directors and managers on a diverse portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain audit quality and ensure consistency of approach using our global audit methodology.
• Manage departmental resources to deliver client service and audit quality across a portfolio of clients.
• Meet departmental targets for chargeable time, billing, net fee income and cash collection.
• Mentor, train and support junior staff.
• Participate in advisory projects such as strategic business plans, technical accounting for acquisitions, accounting framework transitions, and collaborative projects with Financial Advisory and Tax teams.

Required profile

• Qualified auditor or accountant with experience in a medium/large practice.
• Currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
• Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
