Auditor

About the role

Join Northern Trust’s Audit Services team as an Auditor, supporting regulatory reporting, treasury management and financial risk assurance across a global network. You will work closely with senior audit managers in London and collaborate with colleagues in Chicago and Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end audit engagements covering capital management, accounting, risk management, payroll and selected operational activities.
• Evaluate compliance with laws and regulations and document findings with high quality and integrity.
• Deliver audit documentation on time and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in expanding audit coverage and enhancing audit methodology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics (advanced law degree preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in banking, financial services or relevant public accounting.
• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA is preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, global audit team across multiple time zones.

Required skills

• Knowledge of auditing techniques and methodologies within the financial services environment.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting, treasury management and financial risk concepts.
