Bar Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Montenotte, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of The World, is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead its bar operations within a historic, upscale setting. This role is central to delivering the hotel’s high‑end guest experience and maintaining the luxury standards that define the property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth and efficient management of the assigned food & beverage outlet(s).
• Assist other F&B outlets as needed to ensure seamless service across the hotel.
• Manage reservations for the outlet, coordinating with relevant departments for special requests.
• Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards and ensure they are consistently delivered to guests.
• Conduct departmental audits to guarantee consistency among team members.
• Communicate the hotel’s Vision, Mission, and Values to the team and embed them in daily activities.
• Maintain clean and well‑kept service areas, both front‑ and back‑of‑house.
• Control ambience elements such as lighting, music, and temperature.
• Report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.
• Implement new initiatives within agreed time‑frames.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising bar or food‑and‑beverage operations in a hospitality environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage reservations and special guest requests.
• Commitment to delivering luxury‑level service and maintaining high standards.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, ambience and equipment functionality.
