Business Development Manager – Executive Education

About the role

This is a consultative business development position within a leading executive education and leadership development organisation. You will be responsible for driving growth across corporate and professional services sectors by building senior‑level client relationships and delivering tailored learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business opportunities across Ireland and international markets.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Lead consultative sales conversations around leadership, talent and organisational development.
• Collaborate with internal design and innovation teams to create bespoke learning solutions.
• Prepare high‑quality proposals, presentations and commercial agreements.
• Manage sales pipelines, revenue targets and CRM activity effectively.
• Work closely with marketing and membership teams to support growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in business development, consultative sales or client partnerships.
• Proven ability to engage senior leadership teams and manage complex sales cycles.
• Enterprise sales experience with a commercially driven mindset.
• Strong relationship‑building skills; experience in leadership development, HR consulting, executive education or L&D is advantageous but not essential.
• Comfortable managing budgets, proposals and sales reporting.
• Full clean driving licence required.
