About the role
AtkinsRealis is seeking an experienced Community Liaison Officer to join its Stakeholder Engagement Team on a major rail infrastructure project in Dublin. The role serves as the primary contact between the project team and a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and fostering positive relationships throughout all project phases.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with landowners, community groups, businesses, the public and elected representatives.
- Act as the first point of contact for community queries, issues and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of all engagement activities and stakeholder feedback.
- Discuss project impacts with landowners and negotiate mitigation measures.
- Support conflict resolution and promote constructive dialogue.
- Develop and deliver project communications, including letters, brochures, leaflets, web content, newsletters and press releases.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure stakeholder needs are reflected in project decisions.
Required profile
- Degree in Geography, Planning, Environmental Management, Estate/Property Management or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in face‑to‑face meetings.
- Experience on infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Ability to manage workload flexibly, multitask and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing legal documents and plans.
