Corporate Finance Executive

About the role

Capnua, a leading specialist corporate finance advisory firm in Ireland, is seeking a Corporate Finance Executive to join its dynamic team of twelve professionals. This role offers the chance to work on high‑profile M&A transactions, advising senior executives of leading Irish corporates and developing sophisticated financial models.

Key responsibilities

• Build integrated and complex financial models in Excel for mergers, acquisitions, disposals and financing transactions.
• Draft teasers, information memorandums and other marketing or sale documents.
• Advise clients on high‑profile transactions and liaise with senior executives.
• Analyse company financial statements and market trends.
• Conduct quantitative research on macro‑economic trends and their impact on company performance.
• Participate in all stages of the transaction process, from origination to execution.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CFA qualification (or working towards one).
• Experience in corporate finance or transaction services, preferably with exposure to M&A.
• Strong financial accounting knowledge and first‑class analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
