Credit & Collections Specialist – French Speaking

About the role

Join HID Global’s Finance team as an EMEA Credit and Collections Specialist based in Galway. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely cash collection while supporting the company’s growth in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full collections responsibility for assigned accounts to meet DSO and cash targets.
• Review and release orders daily according to credit policy and update credit hold reports.
• Proactively follow up with customers via phone and email, documenting status in the High Radius AR system.
• Maintain customer contact lists and ensure invoices are received before due dates.
• Analyze payment issues, coordinate resolutions with Customer Service, Order Management, Sales, and Finance.
• Support shipments involving Letter of Credit or Documentary Collections.
• Escalate potential issues to the Senior Credit & Collections Manager.
• Assist senior analysts in monitoring credit limits and generate AR aging and ad‑hoc reports.
• Build relationships across HID’s global community and participate in regular sales and customer calls.
• Perform month‑end activities, including AR close and collector comment updates.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and new system implementations.

Required profile

• Fluent French language skills.
• Experience in credit and collections within a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
