Engineering Systems Administrator – Fixed‑Term (12 months)

About the role

Arcadis DPS is looking for an Engineering Systems Administrator to join the team in East Cork on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will be the single source of truth for engineering records, providing both technical and administrative support to ensure documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and easily accessible.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain engineering document registers by site, area, discipline, and document type.
• Upload, control, and manage engineering drawings, vendor manuals, datasheets, reports, and specifications within the document management system.
• Administer document check‑in/check‑out processes, revisions, approvals, and distribution.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to obtain missing or revised documentation.
• Support handover, operation, and maintenance phases by ensuring completeness and accuracy of records.
• Collaborate with the CAD Technician to align document registers, drawing records, and final deliverables.
• Provide user support and system administration for document management and related engineering tools.
• Identify and implement improvements to workflows, templates, and system configurations.

Required profile

• Experience in engineering document control or similar administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of technical documents.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
