Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Group Finance Controller to join a fast‑growing, PE‑backed company in the healthcare sector. The role will be based in the Midlands for two days a week and will work closely with the CFO to shape finance processes and systems during a key scale‑up phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, management accounts, tax compliance and audits.
• Lead the selection, implementation and optimisation of new finance systems.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with the HSE.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, financial modelling and support for M&A scenarios.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple sites.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• At least 3 years of Irish accounting experience, including Irish tax compliance.
• Proven track record of delivering finance projects.
• Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality or a similar industry.
