Food and Beverage Assistant (Part‑time, Mornings & Evenings)

About the role

The Mespil Hotel is looking for a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant to join its bar and restaurant team on a part‑time basis, covering both morning and evening shifts. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a high standard of service throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers entering the bar and restaurant.
• Take food and beverage orders, serve meals and drinks, and clear and reset tables promptly.
• Maintain presentation standards for the dining area and bar.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately using the Micros POS system.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including polishing cutlery and maintaining staff areas.
• Communicate relevant information to colleagues and other hotel departments.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, adhering to 4‑star service standards.
• Support sustainability initiatives by reducing waste and improving energy and water efficiency.

Required skills
