About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, guest‑focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team at Fiadh Restaurant, The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney. The role is ideal for someone with previous experience in food and beverage service who wants to develop a career in a supportive, growth‑oriented hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service in buffet, table and bar settings.
• Engage warmly with guests, offering local knowledge and recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service throughout each shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to exceed guest expectations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service (hotel or restaurant).
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong team player who can also take initiative when needed.
• Flexible and dependable, especially during busy periods.

Required skills

• Hospitality service skills.
