Food & Beverage Duty Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our restaurant, bar and room‑service outlets at the Limerick Strand Hotel. You will ensure four‑star service standards, maintain high levels of cleanliness and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring opening and closing procedures are followed.
• Maintain service, presentation and hygiene standards that meet four‑star expectations.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and engage with guests to enhance their dining experience.
• Supervise, train and motivate staff; conduct briefings, allocate duties and monitor performance.
• Manage staffing levels, budgets, cost control, stock and waste reduction.
• Handle cash‑up procedures, sales reporting and identify upselling opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Liaise with the events team to support seamless event execution.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in Food & Beverage, preferably within a four‑star hotel.
• Relevant hospitality qualification (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of food safety and licensing laws.

Required skills

• HACCP certification or equivalent food safety expertise.
