About the role
Join The Fleet Hotel’s vibrant front office team as a Front Office Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth daily operations in a historic boutique hotel located in the heart of Dublin.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, manage check‑in/check‑out procedures.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain a tidy reception area with necessary stationery and materials.
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
- Control access to the building, monitor the logbook and issue visitor badges.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments and coordinate with other departments.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
- Address basic inquiries from guests and provide accurate information about the hotel.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist in a 4‑star hotel environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
Required skills
- Hotsoft experience (desirable).
