General Manufacturing Operator

About the role

The General Manufacturing Operator will work on the production line of Abbott's Enteral Feeding Devices, ensuring that quality, safety, and volume targets are met. Reporting to a Front Line Leader, the role involves hands‑on operation of equipment, material handling, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out direct production operations and perform machine adjustments.
• Inspect and disposition products, handling materials as required.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation and follow operating procedures.
• Train new employees and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Participate in projects such as product transfers, equipment validation, and process improvements.
• Ensure environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards are met and report any issues.
