Graphic Designer – Marketing & Communications

About the role

Collen is looking for a Graphic Designer to join its in‑house marketing team. This marketing‑led position focuses on creating high‑quality visual content that supports the Collen brand, business development, and communications across the organisation while reflecting core values of integrity, teamwork, sustainability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold and evolve brand guidelines, producing visual assets that communicate the company’s identity and values.
• Create engaging social media graphics for LinkedIn, Instagram and emerging platforms, as well as digital advertising assets for display, paid social and email campaigns.
• Develop and maintain branded templates in Canva Pro, Adobe Express and Figma for use by non‑design colleagues.
• Design client‑facing materials such as pitch decks, capability statements, proposals and presentations, translating technical content into clear visual narratives.
• Support short‑form video production, motion graphics, animated explainers and infographics to convey complex project information.
• Produce thought‑leadership content including whitepapers, case studies, reports and brochures.

Required profile

• Professional graphic design experience, preferably with exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure or professional services sectors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality corporate design work, including presentations and proposals.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related discipline is preferred, though practical experience is valued.
• Experience in both agency and in‑house environments is considered, with emphasis on work quality.
