Group Head of Quality

About the role

The Group Head of Quality will provide strategic leadership for the quality function across all manufacturing sites and projects, ensuring the highest standards in the design, manufacture and installation of precast concrete facades.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Group Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead quality teams across sites, embedding a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve national and international accreditations (e.g., ISO, BES) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Standardise quality processes and procedures across the organisation.
• Monitor quality performance throughout design, production and installation phases, managing root‑cause analysis, non‑conformance and corrective actions.
• Drive lean and best‑practice initiatives, introduce digital tools and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, contractors and regulators on quality matters.
• Lead, mentor and develop quality managers and staff, delivering training to reinforce quality culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a senior quality leadership role within precast concrete, facades or a related engineering‑led manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to develop and execute group‑wide quality strategies.
• Strong knowledge of ISO, BES and other relevant quality management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
